PCC November Gathering: A Culinary Adventure with Chef Ali Bishop

Hello PCC community! We’re thrilled to announce our November gathering with a special guest speaker, Chef Ali Bishop, a seasoned caterer and passionate advocate for garden-to-plate cuisine.

About Ali Bishop:

Chef Ali is the owner of Pachamama Catering and has been delighting palates with her vibrant, colourful, and ‘alive’ food for over 12 years. A graduate from a plant-based culinary school in New York City, Ali brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her cooking. Drawing ingredients primarily from her permaculture garden in Booker Bay, she embodies the true spirit of sustainable culinary practices, with kitchen scraps returning to the earth as compost to nourish her next harvest.

Talk Details: Join us as Ali shares insights into how she utilises her garden’s produce to create exciting dishes for her catering business and the simple yet delicious meals she prepares for herself after a bustling day in the kitchen. It’s a journey through the flavours that travel the least miles to reach the table, celebrating the full circle from garden to plate!

Ali’s approach to food is not just about eating but experiencing the joy of seeing the cycle of life in her dishes – come be inspired and maybe learn a trick or two for your own culinary creations.

We look forward to seeing you there for an afternoon of great food, inspiration, and community spirit!

Event Entry: Open to all PCC members and non-members. We kindly ask for a gold coin donation from non-members at the door. This helps us fund such enriching events and support our community garden projects.
