Changes due to Coronavirus (COVID-19)

2 hands connected over digital network
02/04/2020

We hope you are all staying safe and well at this extraordinary and testing time.

The purpose of this message is threefold:

1.    To let you know that, regrettably, all Permaculture Central Coast Information Night meetings at the Tuggerah Hall have been cancelled for now. Additionally, PCC events, including the Central Coast Regional Show, will not go ahead. Rest assured that we will be in touch to advise a revised schedule of Information Nights and events as soon as we are able.

2.    Whilst we may need to physically distance ourselves from one another, we can still be social. In fact, it is vital that we reach out to others in our community. It is an integral part of remaining healthy that we stay connected, particularly at this time. We’d love you to share your ideas and thoughts on how Permaculture Central Coast can implement PEOPLE CARE and connectedness. We’re asking for feedback and comments on our Facebook page and below in the Comment section. Alternatively, you can email us at newsletter@permaculturecc.org.au.

3.    Finally, as one way of staying connected, we’d like to try an online (Zoom) Information Night – to take place on Tuesday 21st April at 7pm – the same date and time as our usual monthly Information Night, but from the comfort of your home. We’ll send through the meeting invitation and details on how you can join, from your PC, iPad or smart phone, in the next couple of weeks.

This online Information Night will be a Members Talk. We are putting a call out to members who can share their experience with home isolation Permaculture style.  If you have been up to something interesting we want to hear from you!

Do you have any tips and ideas for other members – in your garden, cooking, crafting, mindfulness, resilience or organisational? Please contact Carin Clegg with your interest and send 3 to 4 photos  to president@permaculturecc.org.au.
