Join us for another interactive Plastic Free July and AGM at Community@17 in Niagara Park (next to 5 star swim centre and Niagara Park Stadium)
Please collect all your small bits of plastics for discussion on how to reduce, reuse and recycle and learn where to take them.
Such as breadtags, broken toys, cosmetics packaging, toothpaste tubes, toothbrushes, medication blister packs, glitter, jewellery, silicon sachets, carton tabs, twist ties, pens and textas.
We will have a Terracycle box and we will be looking for volunteers to take a collection of items to the right place eg Broken toys to Big W, send a box of breadtags to Breadtags for Wheelchairs.
At the AGM we will be looking for some keen beans to join our committee and volunteer positions. Many positions can be shared and the previous position holder is always willing to provide support for a smooth handover.
Please remember to bring:
- coins and any donations for the raffle
- produce or anything permaculture or garden related for the swap table. ( Remember to take back your items if no-one else has taken them)
- seeds to deposit back to the seed bank
- a plate of food to share, labeled with ingredients and a plate, cutlery and cup.
