Permaculture is about more than gardening. It’s a design pattern we can use for just about anything. Join us over Zoom on Tuesday the 5th of October from 7.00pm for Nevin Sweeney’s presentation on alternative technology, and why it’s such an important part of permaculture practice. What makes any technology ‘alternative’? Why should we care? When we are choosing a new tool, appliance or method how can we make permaculture-aligned choices? Nev will share his own insights and experiences into this fascinating topic, including photos of some of his home made innovations.
Nev is already well known to many members for his inspiring and practical YouTube videos and his hugely popular website: Under The Choko Tree.
Nev and his wife, Linda, have spent over 35 years figuring out how to “live more sustainably in a suburban setting with a small backyard and some income” and along the way they have inspired hundreds of others with their dedication, generosity and practical advice.
