Guest speaker: Ben Davis-MacAndrew
Ben Davis-MacAndrew works professionally as a bush regenerator and Habitat for Wildlife Project Officer with the Community Environment Network. Using his degree in Environmental Science and Management, Ben has supervised a myriad of habitat restoration and revegetation projects throughout the Central Coast. His interest for more sustainable living has seen him working closely with local community groups to provide and maintain community garden spaces. In order to further pursue his passion for conservation and sustainability, Ben has recently started his own small business offering native stingless bee hives and environmental education workshops, where he aims to empower his local community with the skills and knowledge to live more harmoniously with nature.
Join Ben, The Wild Pollinator in this family friendly event to learn all about the weird and whacky, supremely diverse and beautifully beneficial insects of suburbia. We’ll delve into insect pollinators and beneficial bugs, the roles they play and how to support habitat for healthy ecosystems.

Where
Tuggerah Hall, Anzac Road, Tuggerah, directly opposite Hungry Jacks – within easy walking distance of Tuggerah Railway Station.
Parking is across the road in the council carpark next to Hungry Jacks . Please do not park in the Pizza Inn carpark on the left-hand side and do not park in the Real Estate carpark on the right-hand side. Both venues need space for their customers in the evening.

Supper
We will have a shared supper after the talk. It would be a great help if you could avoid any single-use plastic or other waste and bring single-serve items that can be shared with tongs, so we can stay COVID safe. All food will be served by our two new kitchen volunteers, Lisa and Bridget.
