Permaculture Central Coast members are welcome to join us for a hands-on day in Joanne’s food forest.
We’ll:
- Expand the forest into a new area with edible greens and root crops
- Plant fruit trees and add layers with shrubs, herbs, and groundcovers
- Top up or add new hugelkultur beds
- Create an edible living fence/privacy screen to keep bush turkeys away and to maintain privacy
- (Time permitting) Refresh the ornamental garden with some edible varieties
Come learn, help, revamp and have fun while transforming the garden into a lush, productive paradise.
The event is for current members of Permaculture Central Coast. Please ensure your membership is active before registering.
The Permablitz starts at 9am with a morning tea break at 11.30 and lunch at 2pm. We will all be on the road by 3pm.
Please carpool if possible. Let me know if you want your details to go to the other participants to arrange a lift or to offer one.
And, please let us know if you have any dietary needs.
