Excited to have the gorgeous Nadia O’Connell at Firescreek Winery for our next Permaculture meeting. The winery is set on 2.5 acre and grows using small scale organic permaculture regenerative farming techniques. Without the use of heavy machinery and growing using biodiversity of over 30 species of fruit, 40 species of roses and countless other botanicals, the winery is able to make wine all year round, instead of relying on a single grape harvest. Nadia will be taking us around the property to explore all the natural wonders growing with set points for information and discussion.
Firescreek Winery is an award winning organic garden and Nadia is a sweetheart as well as a clever wine-maker. You do not need to be a wine drinker to appreciate it and there is plenty to see and do at our meetings.
For this month we will be having a raffle so donations are what make it a good one! Swap table and seed bank will also be there.
Please park outside on the road if possible. Fold up chair for part of the journey, good walking shoes and water.
