Run by Mark Brown and Kate Beveridge, Purple Pear Farm, Education Centre and Biodynamic farm offers learning opportunities based on 20+ years of experience in teaching, farming, sustainability, permaculture, biodynamics and community building.
Today, Purple Pear Farm is a flourishing, productive farm and education centre with mandala gardens, forest foods and established permaculture, along with biodynamic and organic farming practices.
Mark and Kate were our guest speakers in October 2021 and talked about ‘The Place for Permaculture in Regenerative Agriculture’. If you missed this fabulous discussion, you can view it on YouTube.
It was a wonderfully informative evening and there was a resounding request for a PCC group visit to Purple Pear Farm. Well, here it is – Mark and Kate have graciously opened their farm doors and invited us in for a farm tour and chat.
The Purple Pear farm tour will take place on Sunday 10th April from 10am until about 2pm. Please wear appropriate footwear and bring along some morning tea and lunch.
Tickets are $10pp.
Purple Pear farm is at 131 Anambah Road, Anambah NSW 2320…just North of Maitland. It is about an 80 minute journey from Gosford.
We won’t be offering a bus there and back, but we will start a carpooling post on our Facebook group for anyone who might need help with transport.
Because we are a voluntary organisation, we don’t have the capacity to respond to refund requests for this event. You are more than welcome to pass your ticket on to someone else.
For insurance purposes this is a members only event. Not a member yet? Join Permaculture Central Coast for just $20.
