It’s time for Permaculture Central Coast’s first seed club!
This club is about creating a community space to gather, share seed, start seeds together, share seed raising tips and tricks, and enjoy yummy food and wine with friends while you do it. Whether you’re an expert seed starter or a complete novice, all are welcome. It’s this mix of skills that we’re hoping for.
When: Friday 24th May
Time: 6pm-7:30pm
Where: Clara’s Urban Mini Farm rain or shine (if you haven’t been before send us a message and we’ll send directions)
Cost: Free. Must be PCC member
Bring:
- seeds – can be bought or seeds you’ve saved
- seed raising mix if you have a preference or use one provided by Clara,
- pots
- any tips or tricks you’d like to share.
- BYO drinks and snacks.
Clara will have a pretty good range of plastic pots available if you wish to use these. The PCC seed bank will also be available to peruse. You can also bring cuttings you would like to try and strike or a fruit you wish to propagate.
Clara has a small number of seed trays so please bring a box or tub to take your seedlings home in. Infants are welcome however no doggies please as we will be in a space with birds who find dogs scary regardless of how well behaved they are. Please wear warm clothing as we will be outside under cover.
