Join Barbara Elkins from Grandma Bees to learn all about bees, how they make honey and how they can benefit our garden.
Barbara is an amateur bee keeper since the age of 10. She grew up helping her father on a small acreage in Victoria with a beautiful market garden, almond trees, orchards and bee hives as a child. You will now find her selling chutneys, jams and honey at the local markets here on the NSW Central Coast.
Barbara will have HONEY FOR SALE, cash or eftpos available
Please remember to bring:
- coins and any donations for the raffle
- produce or anything permaculture or garden related for the swap table. ( Remember to take back your items if no-one else has taken them)
- Seeds to deposit back to the seed bank
- a plate of food to share, labeled with ingredients and a plate, cutlery and cup.
