Guest speaker: Lisa McArthur Edwards
You will LOVE our presenter for May’s Meet Up!! Lisa McArthur – Edwards is a multi-disciplinary artist working in the areas of sculpture, printmaking and mark making. Lisa has had several group exhibitions, solo exhibitions and exhibited in sculpture shows both Internationally and across Australia. Her works all come from her connection to energy of place, the environment and her sense of identity in relation to place.
This is a practical hands on presentation, what a treat! Lisa will discuss which plants we can use for coiled baskets, how to harvest and store the plant material and then prepare them so they’re supple and ready to weave, followed by an introductory session on the coiling process and stitching.

Bring: Fold up chair, hat, apron, secateurs, produce to share, items for raffle if you have them!
