Guest speaker: Paula Paananen, 18th Feb
The Paananen family have traveled to Uganda several times over the past two years to work with the fishing communities on the shores and islands of Lake Victoria. The fishing communities face massive food insecurity, dwindling fish populations, a 40% HIV/Aid incidence rate and a rapidly depleting natural environment. Come along and hear the family share some of their experiences of teaching permaculture in African learn about the latest project developments of the One Passionfruit Project.
